Exploring Emotion and Emotional Variability as Digital Biomarkers in Frontotemporal Dementia Speech
Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) encompasses a range of progressive neurodegenerative conditions that impair speech production and comprehension, higher cognitive functions, behavior, and motor skills. Considerable research has focused on conventional acoustic speech markers in FTD, as well as assessments of apathy and challenges in emotion recognition and expression.
