People Who Stutter Create (PWSC) presents “Stuttering Can Create Time” as part of the Whitney Biennial 2024

Displayed at 95 Horatio Street, NY, PWSC argues that stuttering fosters deep listening and collaboration, aiming to transform social reality through the act of describing it. Their project uses the Whitney’s billboard to celebrate dysfluency, including stuttering and other communication differences. The group consists of five artists who stutter, each bringing unique perspectives to empower and include those with speech differences through various artistic and academic endeavours.
