Dr Gustavo Noffs trained as an Otolaryngologist Surgeon in Brazil, where he worked as a consultant for five years, with focus in voice and swallowing. He holds a Masters of Surgery from São Paulo on the effect of L-dopa on the electrophysiological response of laryngeal muscles of people with Parkinson’s disease and a PhD from The University of Melbourne, Australia on the relationship between speech and markers of neurodegeneration in Multiple Sclerosis. Gustavo continues to work for the development and implementation of objective speech analytics in neuroscience, as a Research Fellow at Monash University, Australia, and Science Lead at Redenlab.
