Aged Care Dementia Conference 2025

Gloria Macan

Subtle changes in the way we speak can reveal early cues of neurodegeneration.

Redenlab CEO Adam Vogel will be presenting at the Aged Care Dementia Conference 2025. The conference brings together clinicians, researchers, policy leaders and care providers to drive system-wide change through Australia’s new Dementia Action Plan.

Clues for neurodegeneration through speech pathologies
Date: 11 November 2025, 11:00am AEDT
Location: Sydney, Australia

Prof Vogel will present alongside Eddy Roccati from the Wicking Dementia Research & Education Centre.

Together, they will share:

  • Techniques to detect subtle changes in speech, such as reduced linguistic complexity and slower speech rate, which may serve as early indicators of cognitive decline
  • How speech analysis can effectively and accessibly supplement traditional neuropsychological testing, supporting the diagnosis of complex dementia presentations

If you are attending the Aged Care Dementia Conference 2025, we invite you to join the session or connect with our team to discuss how speech biomarkers are helping clinicians better understand and track neurodegenerative change.
